Studio 1953 Maps makes 3D-printed relief maps of places you choose. This page explains what we collect to do that, who helps us, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your design. The place on the map, the area, size, frame, layers, pin position and any label text. When you order, we save it under a build code so we can print exactly what you designed. Anyone with the build code can view that design page, so treat the code like a link you'd share.
- Your order. Your name, email and shipping address, and the amount paid. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Searches. What you type into the place search is sent to a map search service to find matching places. We don't keep your searches.
- Basic request logs kept by our hosting provider for security, such as your IP address, for a limited time.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles about you.
Who helps us
- Stripe: payments and receipts.
- Resend: sends our order, shipping and saved-design emails.
- Vercel: hosting this website.
- Supabase: storing designs, orders and preview files.
- Photon by Komoot: place search.
- OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps and AWS Terrain Tiles: the map, building and elevation data your print is made from. Your browser loads map pieces from these services as you move the map.
How long we keep it
Designs are kept so their build codes keep working and so we can reprint or remake an order. Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax. You can ask us to delete a design or your order details at any time, unless we're required to keep a record of a sale.
Your choices

Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
